Chris Norfolk

Chris has always had a flair for creativity, weather it's been performing on stage, recording music, making video's, taking pictures or designing posters. With his shining enthusiasm and happy go lucky personality, Chris has the unique gift of putting a smile on your face, no matter what the conversation or discussion he will always somehow manage to make you laugh! This is also why so many of our clients become friends. Along with Ben who is a character in his own right, you are always guaranteed a pleasurable experience at Portfolio Hull

Ben Rainey

Ben is young, enthusiastic and full of creativity. Having first picking up a computer at the age of 8 it was always obvious he was going to develop a career out of it. 11 years later he now has some valuable IT qualifications behind him and great work experience within IT Departments at both Ideal Standard & East Riding Council Schools which has made him wise beyond his years. He is the Web Design guru at Portfolio Hull and is really making things happen here!

Our History

  2013

  The name 'Portfolio Hull' had now been confirmed, The business had been set up and both Chris and Ben are now working full time. Portfolio Hull now boasts some very exciting clients throughout the UK picked up from a solid reputation and good marketing. We have invested in very relaxed, modern offices with thousands of pounds worth of technology benefiting the business such as; Apple iMac, Apple iPad, High spec windows PC, 2 Canon DSLR cameras with various lens and adobe software. We are now making footsteps across Hull & Yorkshire and branching out massively across the UK and it's all thanks to our brilliant clients & friends.

  2012

  Chris recieved a phone call of his Nephew Ben who was eager to come speak to Chris regarding 'Business' baring in mind Ben was a 17 year old apprentice working as an IT Technician in East Riding Council Schools. Ben explained to Chris he had been worried that there would be no vacancies to continue working within the council once he had qualified and completed his Apprenticeship and had what at the time sounded like a crazy plan to set up a business providing Web Design, Photography and other technological solutions to people in Hull and leave his job. Obviously this would be a big risk for a 17 year old to register his own business so after a lot of thought and discussion both Chris and Ben decided the best thing to do would be to go into business together full time. All or nothing.

  2011

  After lots of meetings, Serious planning and a final conclusion of 'Let's go for it' Chris decided now was the time to do his own thing and started advertising his services in his spare time. Having worked with thousands of large organisations in the past and getting a good reputation for his work he soon had lots of intrest off people wanting to continue using his services and began working freelance and picking up more and more work throughout 2011.

  2003

  Chris began working at Apple International after being head hunted through previously working for their main competitors. He soon began to manage the Apple International website, Undertake regular photoshoots and also film and editing videos. This was something Chris has been doing for years so excelled in marketing for many years.
